Who we are
Every Snout Counts of the Piedmont is a 501(c)(3) organization serving the Lexington, North Carolina area. We step in where we can, connect people with resources, and bring our community together to help animals, children, and families who need it most.
See the need. We listen, pay attention, and stay close to the people and animals in our community.
Bring people together. We share the need and connect it with neighbors, donors, and local partners who can help.
Make help count. We turn generosity into food, care, supplies, and real support close to home.
How we help
A few examples shared by Every Snout Counts
Urgent veterinary care
Brownie was rescued by the Every Snout Counts team. During her veterinary evaluation, they learned that the four-year-old dog was losing her eyesight and needed additional care. A dedicated fundraiser was created to help protect her vision.
Rescue connections
Little Momma, a four-year-old Chihuahua and Pug mix, entered the shelter after being found as a stray. Every Snout Counts shared her story with its community and later celebrated the news that she had been rescued.
Community support
In one year, this small nonprofit helped more than 600 animals and families through rabies vaccinations, dog and cat food, spay and neuter assistance, and other direct support made possible by donors.
